Yeah man in some incarnate world or alternative universe that OCD is that math that keeps the civilization on track. Good dissection and discussion. You are a pain to drive with but I am kind of used to it from other members of my Indian family. I think it is more the Indian side of you that is doing this. That is my conjecture based on my own OCD-isms. I think there is a certain level of precision that was needed for Indians to get here to the US and now that the second generation is here, we don't really need all that, especially if we are not neuro surgeons or rocket scientists... I mean the US given its very stringent immigration policy only allowed certain types of people in from Asia, not saying it is inherent to the subcontinent. I try to reject my OCD isms but some come from my mom's Irish side like closing closet doors, the others from my dad's Indian side like turning off lights, I think that is my biggest OCD, turning off lights, wherever I am, at work at other people's houses at my own etc, I turn off lights...
that's kind of why Christmas pisses me of, because of all of the unnecessary lights. I think they really should turn them off after 9 PM, I may start a movement...to darken Christmas!
