Oh god I hated this show. Agree first episode was great, immediately went downhill. I had no one to talk about it with because all critics lauded it, and the subreddit was just a circle jerk. Thank you for your service! The only reason I watched it (as a non-gamer) was that I thought, oh, if HBO is doing a zombie show, they must be doing something worthwhile and high-quality. LOL nope. It's just a Walking Dead retread.
