Heavy metal's rogue de-transitioner

After 13 years living as Mina, Life Of Agony's Keith Caputo announced his de-transition and started blasting medicalized youth gender treatment. What happened? Caputo explains in his own words.

I spoke with Caputo two weeks before his January 28th surgical procedure to remove his breast augmentation, which he’s addressed numerous times on his Instagram page, such as here, here, and here. (For context, you’ll also want to watch Caputo’s post from late last year announcing his de-transition.)

If there’s one part of this interview I’d emphasize most, it comes at the 2-hour: 24-minute: 20-second mark. There, Caputo reads line by line from the consent form he was required to sign in late 2013 in order for him to be approved for hormone therapy. You can watch that section here:

I have so much to say about this interview overall, though, that I’ve filmed a whole separate video unpacking my thoughts. There’s the main course for now. <3 SRK
