Interesting. Taking issue with the ‘solution’ to the extent a large portion of perpetrators are 1) impoverished 2) radicalized by political divisions &/or minimally educated. While training all the citizenry may produce a healthy respect those options are already available. Regulation is the only tool proven to work via Congress. Appreciate the discussion 🌿
I appreciate the conversation as well. And yeah, it's certainly a touchy subject -- one where it's almost impossible to imagine any kind of way forward. But as someone who swung pretty dramatically from one side to the other, I feel like there's got to be a way. Plus, decades ago even pro-gun conservatives supported regulations. The fulcrum of the conversation has been moved -- intentionally so. So now we have to find a way to work our way backwards from there.
