In March, I started a new column for PopMatters where I curate a list of the past month’s ambient/experimental music releases. I wanted to wait until I had a couple of columns under my belt before saying anything here, but it’s really starting to hit a groove. The first column was a resounding success, and I fielded so many interesting titles the second time around that the latest edition of the list ballooned to twice its original size. It feels fantastic to present the work of these artists to the PopMatters audience. But I’m most thrilled about the accompanying Spotify playlist — a “glorious stew” of music that currently sprawls out at nearly five and a half hours. Feast your ears out! <3 SRK
